Progressive Wing Chun teaches the traditional side of Wing Chun Kung Fu which icludes the forms (Katas or patterns), Chi Sau (sticking hands), and techniques along with the traditional hand and foot drilles you may expect.
Progressive Wing Chun also offers the more modern side of the art which includes Wing Chun ground work, grappling techniques, control and restraint (C&R) and pad work to improve power, speed, body mobility and fitness.
We also include within our training, pressure testing, free sparring and group dynamic training (many apponents)
Apart from teaching the physical side of Wing Chun Kung Fu we also teach the mental side including theoretical justifacation, mindset, focus, awareness and situation assessment. We also teach our students to read body language and intent of an opponent or opponents prior to a situation getting out of control.
